California Elections, Direct Democracy, and Rulemaking

This course examines the electoral process, direct democracy mechanisms, and rulemaking procedures in California. Students will explore the state's political and election laws, gaining insights into the legal frameworks that govern elections and the unique aspects of direct democracy, such as initiatives, referendums, and recalls.

This course is one of four courses required to earn the Professional Certificate of California Government & Policy.
