Foundational Skills for Medical Assisting

In this course, students learn to work in a medical office and clinical setting assisting physicians with patients and maintaining the office. In the administrative side of the course, students will learn medical terminology and administrative office procedures.  

In the clinical side, students will learn vital signs, sterile and surgical techniques, clinical office procedures, and injections. This is a preparatory course into the Medical Assistant field and does not provide certification or licensing.
