Positive Behavior Support, Family Partnership, and Early Intervention Collaboration

This course focuses on positive behavior support, trauma-informed care, and family engagement strategies for home-based early childhood educators. You will develop skills in positive behavior assessment, behavior intervention planning, culturally responsive family partnerships, and navigation of early intervention and community support systems.

Through applied learning activities, you will gain tools to understand and support challenging behaviors, prevent placement loss, and strengthen inclusive care for children and families. 

This course and Foundations of Early Intervention and Inclusive Practice in Family Child Care Homes are both required to earn the Early Education Intervention Specialized Training Award.
